how to get here

Your Caribbean island getaway is closer than you think.

The nearest airports are in La Ceiba (on the north coast of Honduras) or in Roatan (one of the Bay Islands off the northeast coast of Honduras).

You can fly direct from Denver, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta or Miami to Roatan. You can either charter a small plane, take the local Ferry (Saturday’s) or a private boat. We can help you with this part of your adventure.

Once you clear immigration and customs in Roatan, we will have someone greet you and help with your transfer to Guanaja.

If you choose to take the ferry or the private boat it will take about 1.5 hours. This is organized by us at Graham’s Place. The boat travels inside the reef along the east end of Roatan offering a beautiful view of the island.

From La Ceiba airport, guests will then take a 20-minute domestic flight to Guanaja. There are no direct flights to La Ceiba from the US. These flights are generally from the mainland in Honduras. We can also help you book these flights.

Upon arrival in Guanaja, a member of the Graham’s Place staff will greet you, have tags for your luggage, and transport you via a complimentary 15-minute boat ride to Graham’s Place. The ride is a refreshing introduction to the beautiful area called Islas de la Bahia, and a great start to a memorable Caribbean vacation.

In keeping with this unique island getaway experience, all travel in the local area is by boat. Arriving at Graham’s Place dock, you will receive a friendly smile and a thirst-quenching welcome punch while a staff member takes your luggage to your room. At check-in, every guest is registered, given a brief overview of Graham’s Place and a distinctive room key named after one of the fish that are found in the local waters. The oversized key can be conveniently secured at Fish Tales Bar & Grill while your are out of your room or off island.
